When my brother and his wife had their first child, who also happened to my first niece, I insisted on providing christening clothes for the baby. My husband’s siblings all live down south and we have never been able to be as big of a part of their lives, or a big part of the lives of their children as we would have liked, so with the birth of my niece, and announcement that we were going to be the Godparents, I was determined to make every moment we would spend with her special. I had hopes that my niece would not be the only child my brother and his wife would have so I wanted to purchase a christening gown that would become a family heirloom and hopefully used for all of their future children. I also knew the gown would be featured in some of the first photos taken of the baby so it had to be special. I found a gorgeous gown online that has been used twice already and just found out that the gown will get another use as my sister-in-law is pregnant again!
